From Losing Yourself to Choosing Yourself is a 6-week live online experience for bereaved people who want support, connection, and hope after loss.
It took me 28 years to learn what nobody had told me about grief...
I was eight years old when my younger brother drowned.
My dad died when I was 30.
And last year, I lost my mum, the final member of my immediate family.
For years, I thought grief was about learning how to live without the people we love.
Like many bereaved people, I believed the only way forward was to somehow let go and move on.
But I never wanted to leave my loved ones behind.
The biggest breakthrough came when I stopped focusing on how to let go and started focusing on how to stay connected.
I realised I didn't have to choose between remembering the people I love and living my life.
I could do both.
That understanding changed my life.
And it's the reason I created this programme.

Before that, I spent years carrying grief on my own...
I found it difficult to talk about my family.
When I found a way to move forward without leaving them behind...
When I eventually realised I could stay connected to my family while still moving forward, I immediately felt less stuck.
I started to talking to people who had been through similar experiences.
I started thinking about my mum, dad, and brother with more love, gratitude, and joy than sadness.
I stopped feeling like my future had been put on hold.
I found a sense of purpose that gets me out of bed every morning.
I started making plans again.
I looked forward to holidays, new experiences and spending time with friends.
I started waking up excited about the day ahead.
I even went on my first rollercoaster!
Most importantly, I realised that grief no longer had to define every part of my life.
I genuinely fell back in love with life.

Introducing From Losing Yourself to Choosing Yourself
From Losing Yourself to Choosing Yourself is a 6-week live online experience designed to help bereaved people feel less alone, reconnect with themselves, and find a hopeful way forward.
Throughout the programme, you'll be part of a group of people who understand what it means to lose someone they love.
Through group coaching, guided reflection, practical exercises and meditations, you'll have the opportunity to continue your relationship with your loved one in a different way, and start reconnecting with the parts of life that matter most to you.
From Losing Yourself to Choosing Yourself begins on Monday, 20th July and runs for 6 weeks.
